Today’s blog is a visual one. I did another one like this back in July. I am moved by the beauty captured by photography. It soothes my soul. During this holiday season when brokenhearted parent’s emotions may be raw I hope you will find solace here. Soak in the beauty and peacefulness of each photo. Let these pictures draw you to a place of calmness and hope. Let them renew and refresh. Be blessed with a few moments of serenity.
Hold on to HOPE.“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God (Psalm 42:11).”
HELD in His hands today, tomorrow and forever.
“When you open your hand, (we) are filled with good things (Psalm 103:28b ESV).”
BLOOM where you’re planted.
SERENITY. Be at rest in your Maker’s Presence.
PEACE to you from the Prince of Peace.
BE RENEWED as you drink inĀ the love of God that flows freely from His heart to yours.
“But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children (Psalm 103:17 ESV).”
Estranged from my one and only son for 5 years. Holidays are the hardest and the enemy keeps battling for my mind. Confusion, depression, frustration, anger, sadness, and any other negative emotion has been part of the past five years. Three grandkids are also part of the picture. They don’t know me or my love. Prayers for reconciliation and peace!!
P.S.
I am so sorry, Pam. I am praying for you now as I read over your comment. May your heart be comforted as you trust your Savior with all the hurt and pain. May you know His peace as you journey through one more difficult holiday season.
